LEADING antique expert and television personality Phillip Serrell has traded cabinets for canines in a new charity role.
Mr Serrell, left, who is famed for appearances on shows such as Antiques Roadshow and Bargain Hunt and owns an auction house in Malvern, has accepted an invitation to become patron of dog charity Greyhound Compassion.
A keen dog owner himself, Mr Sewell lost his 18-year-old lurcher Myrtle earlier this year.
Greyhound Compassion is an organisation involved in all aspects of greyhound and lurcher welfare throughout the British Isles.
