AN all-male choir will bring the curtain down on a varied and busy year in festive fashion.

Malvern Male Voice Choir is presenting a double bill to draw its season to a close on Saturday, December 14, when the group will be singing in the open air in the centre of Great Malvern from 11.30am to 12.15pm.

This is followed by their annual Christmas concert at St Matthias Church, Church Road, Malvern Link, where they will be joined by children from Somers Park Primary School at 2.30pm.

Charles Pavey, the choir’s musical director, said: “It’s great to be back at St Matthias again just before Christmas for this collaboration of two very different choirs.”

A varied programme of seasonal songs and carols is guaranteed and the joyful celebration includes an opportunity for audience participation and seasonal food and drink to finish.

Tickets for the concert are £7 (under-18s free), including mulled wine and mince pies. For more information and tickets, go to malvernmalevoicechoir.org or call Martin Wheeler on 01684 573412.
