AN outdoor photographic exhibition in Great Malvern has been so successful that it has been extended to the end of the year.
In and Around Malvern, showcasing the work of Beacon Camera Club members, has been fascinating passers-by in Church Walk and outside Waitrose for several weeks.
Club chairman Peter Warner said: “We have been delighted with the opportunity to exhibit our photographs in such an innovative way.
“Since the exhibition was launched we have gained a number of new members and have established a new beginners and improvers group to support those who are just getting started in photography.”
The outdoor exhibition was organised by the club in association with Pulse Great Malvern Group and Malvern Hills District Council Councillor Phil Grove said: “The idea behind the exhibition was to showcase the area and to encourage people shopping at Waitrose to follow the photos onto the high street and discover some of the great shops we have.
“The feedback we have received has been fantastic and we are really pleased to announce the photos will remain on display for longer.”
Anna Brook of Pulse said: “We have been delighted by the response to the exhibit and are keen to hear from any other local groups or individuals who may wish to exhibit or showcase their talents in the town centre.
“Anyone interested should visit pulsegreatmalvern.co.uk for more information.”
