PLANS to extend a historic property near Upton have been sent in to Malvern Hills District Council.
Hanley Hall at Gilbert’s End is a grade II listed mediaeval manor house, parts of which date back to about 1600, with alterations and additions made over subsequent centuries.
The application, made by Mr and Mrs C Cox of Hanley Hall, is to build a single-storey extension and carry out external repairs and alteration, plus landscaping work.
The extension is intended to house a kitchen, and the alterations are intended to provide insulation and renew services throughout the building.
