Festival at the Fold
2:00pm Saturday 28th September 2013 in News
WEIRD and wonderful experiments will form part of a festival which creates a buzz of creativity and activity.
The Fold in Bransford is holding its fifth Earth Festival on Saturday, October 6, and the world acclaimed Mad Science group will host slime creation workshops and dazzle children with their spectacular experiments.
Other activities for youngsters include pizza-making, mosaic craft, face-painting, horsehair braiding and a Victorian hand-turned merry-go-round.
There is also plenty for adults to do, from enjoying local produce and tempting treats, artisan foods and home-made delights with a huge market celebrating Worcestershire’s and Herefordshire’s rich agricultural heritage.
Live music will sit alongside a range of forgotten arts and a bar offering local ales and ciders.
A free shuttle bus between Worcester and Malvern will be running all day courtesy of First Buses and the festival is open from 10am to 4pm.
