Yogi making return to town

A TIBETAN master will once again bless Malvern with his presence.
Chödpa Lama Ngagpa Rinpoche was given a grand welcome complete with incense sticks and ceremonial scarves at Great Malvern station when he arrived last year, and he is making another visit because he felt a connection with the town.
When he arrived and saw the Malvern Hills, he said: “I have come home” and his latest stay runs from Friday, September 27, to Thursday, October 3.
On Saturday, September 28, he will be holding a healing ceremony, known as Chöd, at Christchurch Hall, Avenue Road.
The ritual is said to be a spiritual path that cuts through obstacles, negativity and self-delusion. The practice of Chöd cultivates fearlessness, certainty and unrelenting compassion as well as connecting people to their deepest core.
He will then give an empowerment talk on Sunday, September 29, entitled ‘How Do We Cut Through Ego?’ The master will be available by appointment for private divinations.
