It’s a bright new dawn for the Sunrise siblings!
A FAMILY trio hopes to hit all the right notes with a debut single and gig on a musical island.
Howland siblings, Loren, aged 21, Jodie, 17, and Scott, 23, of Lower Wick, Worcester, are better known as Done By Sunrise and their title song is now available to download.
This week the indie-pop three-piece were due to play at Ibiza’s Club Punta Ariba, having jetted out to the White Isle on Sunday. Scott, who is the band’s guitarist and shares vocal duties, said: “We cannot believe this is actually happening, it is a dream come true.” The single comes with a bonus version of their tongue-in-cheek TOWIE Song, about ITV show The Only Way is Essex, as well as a remix by Halcyon and an acoustic version of the track.
The release caps an incredible year of gigging and some notable support slots at the LG Arena in Birmingham, where they have played before the likes of One Direction, Girls Aloud, Westlife and the Big Reunion.
The band, who work with MAS Records of Kidderminster, are playing some single release shows throughout the month, including a second stage appearance at Upton Music Festival on Sunday, August 25, and the Swan with Two Nicks as part of Worcester Music Festival on Saturday, August 31.
