A ROAD is now open in Upton-upon-Severn following a chimney fire earlier today.

Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service were called at 11.45am to Old Street, A4104, to tackle the blaze.

One crew from Worcester and one from Upton attended along with an area ladder platform from Worcester.

Police were called to direct the traffic while the fire was put out. Crews left after just over an hour-and-a-half.
