Harlem shake woe

Harlem shake woe Harlem shake woe

SUPPORTERS of a community garden were disappointed more people didn’t turn out to support a fancy-dress Harlem Shake.

Cold weather on Sunday did not put off a few hardy souls who gathered to do the Harlem Shake for an internet video.

But Cat Goodwin of the Wilderness Regeneration Group, which created the Elgar Avenue garden, was disappointed only half a dozen people turned up.

She said: “It was very cold and it started snowing, so I think that is what kept people away.“Maybe we’ll do it again when the weather’s better.”

This is embarrassing but I fail to see how a bunch of people dancing in a garden in fancy dress is going to raise the profile of this community garden and raise funds, you can guarantee it was never going to go viral.

Stating in your article what the garden provides to the local community and how its residents benefit from its existence would be a start.
