A NEW mobile library will be taking to the county’s roads.
The bus is the latest addition to Worcestershire County Council’s existing fleet of five vehicles.
It will enable the council’s libraries and learning department to work with other organisations to allow customers only borrow books, but also access other services.
Councillor John Campion, cabinet member with responsibility for libraries, said: “This is an exciting time for development of the mobile library service. The bus is great for the local community and gives more residents across Worcestershire access to the library services.
“Working in partnership with county council colleagues will get more council services on the road and available in your local area.”
The mobile library service has more than300 stops.Find the nearest stop at worcestershire.gov.uk/librariesandlearning.
