SUPPORTERS of a community garden are being asked to put on fancy dress and come along to do the Harlem Shake.

The Wilderness Regeneration Group runs the garden off Elgar Avenue, Malvern, and is preparing a bid for funding from the Big Pickersleigh Project to keep the garden going for future years.

Now the group wants to raise its profile by putting a video of the dance craze on YouTube.

All volunteers are welcome, although under-15s will need a signed consent letter from a parent.

Cat Goodwin of the Wilderness Regeneration Group, which created the garden, said: “We're preparing a bid to enable us to deliver nature and gardeningthemed activities, community events and workshops, as well as to develop a sensory garden and a young people’s allotment.

“We would like to invite residents of Malvern to be involved with the group in preparing this bid for funding, by emailing us with their views.”

She can be reached at purplecatz0001@ gmail.com.

The fun will take place on Sunday, from 2.30pm to 3.30pm.
