PEOPLE in the Malvern area are being warned about aggressive salespeople trying to sell security alarms.

The warning comes after a resident in Bretforton, near Evesham, reported an unwanted callto the police.

Officers are urging people to follow their top tips when dealing with cold callers.

These top tips include, don’t invite a salesperson into your home or sign any paperwork produced during a cold call, don’t worry about appearing rude and make it clear you are not interested and want them to leave your property and not return.
