FRIENDS of Malvern Springs and Wells will be presenting their sixth annual St Werstan Award in the centre of Malvern on Thursday.
This year, the award is going to the Courtyard, Belle Vue Terrace, to celebrate the improvements to the old Bottling Works Spring and the creation of the new Courtyard Fountain.
Free coffee, tea and canapés will be served, and Malvern Museum will provide a medley of musical delights when Carleton Tarr tinkles the ivories of the historic Dulcitone, which for many years was played by ‘Blind’ George Pullen at St Ann’s Well.
The award, a brass plaque, will be unveiled at 11.45am by Jim Fox, head of corporate affairs at Coca Cola, sponsors.
