Prayer requests

A CHURCH congregation is offering an ‘on-demand’ praying service for local people during Lent.

For six weeks Holy Trinity Church in Link Top, Malvern, will be running its own innovative take on a national scheme known as “Say One for Me”.

This sees church members taking to the streets and offering to pray for any needs or concerns of the passers-by they meet. But Holy Trinity’s take on the idea will see a large cross put up on the church wall and people being invited to pin their prayer requests to it.

There will also be a pocket on the cross for people who would rather slip their requests discreetly inside.

There is no limit to the number of requests and they will all be gathered together and prayed for during Lent Compline services in the church at 7.30pm on Wednesdays.
