A FORMER Worcestershire man has launched a free online TV channel from his garden shed after being inspired by people he met during his 20 years travelling around the world.

The Visions Channel launched just before Christmas to support worldwide sustainable innovations and actions.

It is the brainchild of Simon Ramsay, a former Chase High School pupil who grew up in Callow End, near Malvern.

Mr Ramsay, who now lives in South Downs in Hampshire, said: “Much of the time people are not inclined to engage in social and environmental issues because they are generally focused on the problems rather than the solutions, which depresses them.

“I want people to see all of the really good things that are happening out there in our world, and to get inspired to see and feel and cultivate all of the positive qualities of what it means to be a human interacting with the amazing planet that we all share.”
