Angel sculptor will help cause

A SCULPTOR who became an internet sensation with his eye-catching snow angels during the wintry weather is lending his support to a fund-raising event.
Malvern-based Ed Elliott, who saw his profile receive a huge boost when his striking snow sculptures in Malvern were shared thousands of times online, will be attending an art exhibition in aid of Funny Blood at Stanbrook Abbey, in Callow End, on Thursday, March 23.
Funny Blood was set up by Ruby Edwards, a mum from Upton-upon-Severn, after she discovered her young son Noah suffered from platelet function disorder, which makes him prone to extreme bruising and bleeding.
The exhibition and auction at Stanbrook Abbey is also being backed by well-known local artists including David Birtwhistle, Tia Lambert and Jonathan Taylor.
Auction lots up for grabs include a day in a Morgan sports car and afternoon tea on the terrace at the House of Commons.
There will also be a raffle and a chance to look around the venue itself.
Tickets cost £25, for details visit funnyblood.co.uk.
