Helping tortured

A COFFEE morning held in Malvern by residents Anthony Gann and Connie Lightowler was a big success, raising £230 for the charity Freedom from Torture.

Mr Gann thanked everyone who supported the event or made donations. “This charity provides help for survivors of torture arriving in the UK and the money raised will support its work in helping them overcome their traumatic experiences,”

he said.
