PROPOSALS for a development of 45 new homes in Malvern Wells are due to come before parish council planners on Wednesday.

Developer Landseer Homes and the Abbey College are seeking planning permission for a mixture of affordable and open market homes on land between Rothwell Road and Hanley Road.

The two-hectare site is owned by the college and is earmarked for housing in the South Worcestershire Development Plan – a blueprint for where building should take place between now and 2030.

Members of Malvern Wells Parish Council’s planning committee will consider the plans for 22 semi-detached homes, three terraced houses and six apartments when they meet in the village hall at 7.30pm.

Members of the public are welcome to attend and have their say.

The final decision on whether to grant approval will be made by Malvern Hills District Council.
