A MALVERN chippy is closing its doors for three weeks as it embarks on a £100,000 refurbishment project to celebrate its 30th anniversary.
Barnards Green Fish Bar will be closed from Monday until Sunday, February 24, for the work, which co-owner Chris Kalisperas said was aimed at improving the service to customers.
Mr Kalisperas, who owns the family business with his brother Michael and father Vassos, said: “The shop gets very busy so we are looking to speed things up with more cookers and a general refurbishment.
“We thank customers for their patience and their loyal custom over the last 30 years and look forward to welcoming them back.”
