Fewer fail breath test

THE number of drink-drivers who failed breath tests fell slightly over the festive season, according to figures from the Safer Roads Partnership in Warwickshire and West Mercia.

Figures showed 163 people tested positive for drink or drugs, or refused to give a test over December 2012, just four per cent of those breathalysed in total. This compares to six per cent during the same period in 2011.
