Gritters out tonight in Worcestershire

GRITTERS will be out across Worcestershire this evening as road temperatures are expected to hit lows of -4C.

No further snow is forecast but gritting crews will be heading out once more this evening to cover designated routes when the forecast rain eases.

Motorists are once again being urged to drive with caution, and never to assume it's safe to travel at normal speeds even if they believe roads have been treated with grit.

The county council's Twitter account, http://twitter.com/worcscc, has jumped into ''Gritter Twitter'' mode for a fourth year to keep people up-to-date.
