POLICE have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to about the theft of a charity collection tin from a Malvern supermarket in November.

The tin, belonging to the British Legion Poppy Appeal, was stolen from the pharmacy counter at Morrisons, Roman Way, at about 11.30am on Saturday, November 10.

PC Danian Lowe said: “This was a particularly unpleasant crime and I want to make every effort to identify the thief so he can be dealt with accordingly.

“I would like to speak to the man spotted on CCTV at the time of the theft, so I ask him to come forward or for anyone who recognises him to contact me.”

PC Lowe can be contacted via the non-emergency police number 101 or information can be passed on anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
