GOING green has been identified as a top priority by Malvern Hills District Council.
At a full council meeting, members acknowledged the increasing impact of climate change and committed to tackling its causes and effects across the district.
The motion, proposed by council leader Di Rayner, follows the success of the recent Homes 4 Now exhibition.
She said it was vital the council became more climate focused and played its part in saving the planet.
"It's a case of one small step for Malvern Hills, one giant step for mankind," she said.
