A GROUP of young nature fans bagged a string of awards for taking part in wildlife activities and challenges.
The children received wildlife watch awards at Worcestershire Wildlife Trust’s Club WoW.
Club WoW – Watch out Wednesdays – gives children a new way to explore wildlife and have fun. Solomon Rose, aged six, of Worcester, was awarded his starlets certificate, badge and zipper pull. While Martha Davey, six, of Grafton Flyford, near Worcester, Isabel Jones, seven, Alex Gurr, seven, and Matthew Gurr, nine, all from Droitwich, received their bronze hedgehog awards.
Debs Richardson Bull, the trust’s education officer, said: “We presented a total of five national watch awards – the culmination of lots of work by the children.” For details, visit worcswildlifetrust.co.uk.
