Rail services between Malvern and Worcester disrupted by signalling problems

HENWICK Road in Worcester has reopened after a level crossing failed because of blown fuses.

Barriers at the crossing were stuck in a down position following signalling problems.

Network Rail was made aware of the issue at 11.10am and engineers at the scene discovered several fuses had blown.

The fuses were replaced and the barriers were operational again by 11.40am.

Some train services between Great Malvern and Worcester Foregate Street have been delayed.
