ART-loving local people defied wet weather to visit Malvern Terrace Artists’ exhibition, held at Priory Lodge Hall. The exhibition was opened by Malvern Hills District Council chairman, Councillor Paul Tuthill, who said: “I was delighted to open the exhibition, particularly as it was in the same week as the buzzards sculpture in Rosebank Gardens was unveiled.”
Terrace Artists' chairman Janet Jones said: “Although the weather was bad, we had several hundred people through the door, so we’d like to thank they for defying the rain and coming to see us." Donations from the event and 15 per cent of proceeds from sale of paintings will go to Malvern Community Hospital. Pictured is artist Edward Birch with some of the paintings.
