Deck the halls of care home

FRIENDS of the Elderly is asking for volunteers to help decorate one of its care homes in Malvern for Christmas.
As part of the charity’s ‘Christmas Makers’ campaign, people are invited to help deck the halls at Davenham, in Graham Road, between 2.30pm- 4pm on Monday.
A series of free festive lunches are also taking place at Davenham and neighbouring care home Perrins House, in Moorlands Road, for older people who might otherwise be spending the season alone. These take place at Perrins House on December 19, January 2 and January 9 and at Davenham on January 4 and 9.
Lunch places are open to people aged 60 and above on a first-come, first-served basis by calling 0207 730 8263.
