Rose Bank labyrinth
CORA Weaver of Friends of Malvern Springs and Wells wants to implement a gesture of recognition and appreciation to Coca Cola for its stewardship of Malvern Water (Malvern Gazette May 2).
I suggest the Coca Cola logo be incorporated into the labyrinth (also promoted by Ms Weaver) so that people can have the fun of actually walking the logo.
That way Rose Bank Gardens would be enhanced by having a memorial to American business literally embedded in our beloved hills.
Better still, the logo could be formed from recycled plastic water bottles to show that we in Malvern take environmental concerns seriously.
To those who whinge that the labyrinth is kitsch, I point out that the proposal is for a very costly construction in expensive materials, so how can it be kitsch?
