Removal of hedge
I FEEL greatly saddened to have returned to Malvern from overseas to witness the devastation in the library grounds.
In the past I used to sit there and enjoy the quiet and privacy afforded by the hedge that has now been uprooted.
To have done this to a bird habitat, and in the nesting season, is an act of official vandalism which sends out a message that the interests of wildlife are of no account.
The thousands of pounds of tax payers' money that have been used to fund this project could have been used to employ someone for many years to come to maintain and enhance the grounds as they were previously.
Why I wonder was this allowed to happen?
