Not on the front page
AM I alone in being concerned that the front page of the Malvern Gazette on February 8 was devoted to an ASBO article?
Surely you could have adequately warned and informed people in an article inside the paper.
It seems harsh on the youngest child in the Malvern Hills District to receive an ASBO, to put a picture of him and the article about him, all over the front page. To what end?
If its to teach other children a lesson, then, although you are making an example of him, you also glamorise him, by featuring him on the front page.
It's a puzzle how a 14 year old is expected to cope with such notoriety, and find a way to redeem himself, which is surely what everyone wants.
