LEDBURY Market Theatre has posted details of a lively July programme.

From The Page To The Stage will be presented by the Ledbury Amateur Dramatic Society Youth Theatre.

A spokesman said: "The group will present three diverse plays with the youngest members staging a musical play, Pirates versus Mermaids. The middle age group will present Ernie’s Incredible Illucinations, by Alan Ayckbourn whilst the oldest members will be performing The Turnip Winter by Paul King."

The month will also see an encore live screening from the National Theatre.

The spokesman added: "This charged retelling of the infamous biblical story turns the tale on its head, placing ‘Salome’ at the centre of a revolution".

Hand to Mouth Theatre Productions will present Billy Liar.

Billy Fisher has a problem. He has three girlfriends, two fiancees and only one engagement ring. The truth seems to have a way of getting in the way of fiction.

Films on offer will include The Light Between Oceans.

Tom is a Lighthouse Keeper on a remote Island off the Australian coast. He and his wife seem unable to start the family they so long for, so when a boat with a dead man and an infant girl washes ashore what should they do?

La La Land is set in modern day Los Angeles it is an original musical about everyday life exploring the joy and pain of pursuing your dreams
