YOU might believe a boy can fly after attending a live screening of Peter Pan at Pershore's Number 8 venue, this weekend.
The show will be beamed in from the National Theatre and is being billed as "captivating and funny".
A spokesman said: "A bold and magical reinvention of the classic tale this version of Peter Pan was first performed at the Bristol Old Vic in 2012 and went on to receive widespread acclaim.
"With flying achieved by “fairy strings”, a Neverland that is a graffiti scrawled adventure playground and where the lost boys scavenge amongst the tin cans and the crocodile a collection of corrugated iron the production takes the story to an imaginative new setting."
The spokesman added: "Paul Hilton plays Peter Pan with Madeleine Worrall as Wendy and in another twist on the original Captain Hook is female, played with skirt swishing exuberance by Anna Francolini. The combination of the inventive staging, live music, puppets and, of course, flying bring the story to life."
The show takes place tomorrow, Saturday, June 17, from 2pm.
Tickets are on sale from Number 8 Box Office on 01386555488
