A RABBIT hole awaits you at Worcester's Swan Theatre.

A ballet version of the Lewis Carroll classic, Alice in Wonderland, is set to entertain a local audience.

A spokesman said: "Come with Alice on a magical adventure as she tumbles into Wonderland. Guided by the White Rabbit, Alice meets some astonishing characters, including the Mad Hatter, the Queen of Hearts, a studious caterpillar and those mischievous twins, Tweedledum and Tweedledee.

"Bringing us this enchanting story, Ballet Theatre UK, founded by Artistic Director Christopher Moore, has rapidly become one of the UK’s most popular touring companies."

The spokesman added: "Since its foundation in 2008, the company has achieved an incredible amount and prides itself on being an innovative classical dance company, with a bold and unique approach, raising awareness of dance within the community by being accessible to people from all ages and walks of life, both nationally and internationally."

The show will take place on Friday, May 5, from 7.30pm.
