LOCAL audiences have a chance to be enchanted with a production of Mozart's "The Magic Flute" at Worcester's Swan Theatre.
The Witley Operatic Society will be performing the Mozart masterpiece with a three night run, this month.
A spokesman said: "This is one of the greatest and most popular operas ever written. In a search for true love comedy and philosophy unite, and good faces the forces of darkness. ‘The Magic Flute’ brings to stage some of operas most loved music, a Priest of Light and one of opera’s favourite comic character ever: the bird catcher Papageno."
The spokesman added: "We are delighted to welcome newcomers Andrew Irwin (Tamino) who is a professional currently studying at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama; Claire Johnson (Queen of the Night); Tim Johnson (Monostatos) and David Coulson (Sarastro). They all join this highly talented company.
"This will be a fully costumed semi-staged production sung in English with live Orchestra. Directed by Andrew Rawle with Musical Direction by Sue Black."
The show will run from March 16 to March 18.
