THE GOOD news is, one of the UK’s most energetic and exciting comedians, known for his appearance in ‘I’m A Celebrity’, is to stage a show at Cheltenham Racecourse later this year.

The bad news in, it's not until November.

Joel Dommett is hitting the road in 2017, and he has a late autumn date at at the Cheltenham venue, so local fans will need to be patient.

A spokesman said: "The runner-up in 2016’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, and star of Sky1’s Bring The Noise, will deliver his high octane comedy at Cheltenham Racecourse on Saturday, November 11, presented by Off The Kerb Productions.

"Joel burst on to the comedy scene in 2007 and has never looked back receiving great critical acclaim for his Edinburgh Fringe shows."

The spokesman added: "The funnyman has gone on to appear in numerous television shows including Impractical Jokers (BBC3), Reality Bites (ITV2), Russell Howard's Good News (BBC), Drunk History (Comedy Central), and has performed in acting roles for Popatron (BBC2) and Skins (E4)."

Lee Moulson, Regional Head of Sales at Cheltenham Racecourse added: “Joel is a real comic talent and we are so pleased that he will be appearing at Cheltenham Racecourse.

“He was so entertaining last year during I’m A Celebrity and he will be bringing that same brand of humour here in November."
