IF you've ever stayed in a hotel where the soap in the shower looked far more appetising than the breakfast brought in on the tray, perhaps the anarchist cook, George Egg, can assist you?

Or perhaps not - given that the funnyman uses equipment commonly found in hotel rooms as his makeshift cooking utensils - and that includes electric irons, unfortunately.

A spokesman said: "George Egg is a stand-up comedian and a passionate cook with an anarchic approach to making meals. "Dissatisfied with the quality of room service food while touring the UK’s comedy clubs George embarks on a project to take matters into his own hands."

The spokesman added: "This is a surreal mix of stand-up, striking innovation and extreme multitasking. Whilst performing an hour of comedy George prepares a three course meal using just the equipment you’ll find in a hotel room.

"And if you want to, you can taste it at the end."

But maybe you shouldn't.

George will be in full, manic flow at The Artrix in Bromsgrove on February 4, from 7.30pm.

Tickets on, 01527 577330.
