CULT BBC sitcom Up Pompeii, as a stage show, has been entertaining audiences at The Norbury in Droitwich this month, and its not too late to catch up with the fun, "which contains mild nudity".
Made famous in the 1970s by Frankie "titter ye not" Howerd, the Norbury Players are performing Miles Tredinnick’s stage adaptation of the bawdy comedy.
It's next runs at the Friar Street venue will be from Thursday, July 28 to Saturday, July 30, with all performances at 7.30pm.
A spokesman said: "Under the direction of Ian Thompson, this innuendo-laden production is set in ancient Rome and narrated by the hero Lurcio, the senator’s slave.
"It charts his efforts to deliver his traditional prologue while being constantly distracted by a host sexual liaisons wreaking havoc in the house of his master Ludicrous Sextus."
