Gwyneth Paltrow, Britney Spears and Gerard Butler are some of the latest stars to confront the insults directed at them on Twitter on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The regular comedy sketch sees A-list stars shame internet trolls by reading out abusive tweets that have been sent about them, and in some cases hit back, in the eighth edition of Jim Kimmel’s Mean Tweets.

Gwyneth pretends to cry after reading: “Gwyneth Paltrow you ugly ass big bird looking bitch, shut the fuck up.”

Britney giggles as she reads: “I feel like Britney Spears is stalking me on the radio. Quit forcing your suckage on me you tired hag!”

Chloe Grace Moretz, 17, manages to keep a poker face as she reads out: “Chloe Moretz or whatever her stupid name is looks like my asshole seriously she is not decent looking whatsoever.

The blonde actress retorts: “You must have a really bleached asshole!”

Action star Gerard Butler cracks up reading: “Does Gerard Butler have a massive student loan or something? Is that why he does all these shit films?”

The Scottish actor shrugs: “No, I don’t have a student loan I just do all these shit films.”

And Lisa Kudrow is heartily tickled by her tweet: “I hope you all have a great weekend. Except you, Lisa Kudrow, Fuck you.”

And Adam Sandler pretends to be furious after reading: “If an alien landed here and demanded a famous person to eat, I’d drive straight to Adam Sandler’s house with a net.”

Previous stars to take part include Bill Murray, George Clooney, Tom Hanks, Cate Blanchett, Matt Damon, Benedict Cumberbatch and Jennifer Garner.
