THE STORY of the Beach Boys will be heard, in a very musical way, with a tribute show at Worcester’s Huntingdon Hall.
A spokesman said: “If you like the Beach Boys’ songs, you will love this band. Guaranteed to leave you with a smile on your face, a song in your heart and a truly memorable live music experience to cherish, The Story of The Beach Boys is a show you do not want to miss.
“The performers of this extravaganza express, Beach Boyz Tribute Band, deliver a stunning show of Technicolour harmonies that will take your breath away.”
The spokesman added: “Presented here is a unique opportunity to hear a comprehensive selection of chart hits recorded by America’s biggest pop band ever, including: God Only Knows, Good Vibrations, I Get Around, Surfin’ USA, Fun, Fun, Fun, California Girls, Sloop John B, and many more that you will surely know, and by the end of the evening, love.
The Beach Boys gained national prominence with a string of top-ten hits reflecting a southern California youth culture of surfing, cars and romance.
Later this became known as the California Sounds, although the Beach Boys were also known for cutting edge musical experimentation.
The date for the diary is Saturday June 9 at 8pm
