An enchanting musical adaption of Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass.

Disillusioned single Mum Alice has had enough of the real world when she discovers her ex-husband is remarrying and more things have gone wrong in her life, she doesn't know what to do or how to change things.

Assisted by her daughter Ellie and neighbour Jack they find themselves transported in to the magical world of Wonderland meeting White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter, Cheshire Cat, Humpty Dumpty, March Hare and Dormouse all with a tale to tell - is the grass always greener as their world is far from perfect ruled by the domineering Queen of Hearts (Wendi Peters) always ready to chop off their heads. Can Alice save the day and get them back home?

Kerry Ellis the star with the golden voice played Elphaba in the West End musical Wicked was a perfect Alice.

The White Rabbit (Dave Willetts) was excellent, full of wisdom and an affectionate bond with Alice.

Naomi Morris (Ellie) Alice's stroppy teenage daughter and Stephen Webb (Jack) are both impressive.

The performance of the Caterpillar and Caterpillar's Legs during the song Advice From A Caterpillar was my highlight of the show - genius creativity and imagination.

For something slightly different and fun filled Wonderland runs until Saturday, 13th May at the Bristol Hippodrome.
