Jennifer Lopez celebrated her 46th birthday at the weekend, wearing a daring little black dress with cut-out and see-through panels.
Certainly no wallflower, J-Lo has always been proud of her enviable curves, and done her best to flaunt them at any given opportunity.
And the diva certainly showed no signs of changing, as she snuggled up to her 28-year-old on/off toyboy boyfriend Casper Smart and cavorted on the dancefloor at the New York club in the fitted dress that appeared to show off more than it covered up.
So, as she enters her late 40s, should J-Lo be thinking about opting for outfits with a little more material and a slightly more demure style?
Looking back through her wardrobe, she seems to be wearing less and less.
Perhaps J-Lo’s most memorable dare-to-bare outfit was this sheer green slashed-to-the-navel Versace number which she wore to the Grammys 15 years ago. As everyone marvelled at her confidence and how she managed to avoid a wardrobe malfunction, J-Lo became responsible for the creation of the Google Image search, and made “tit-tape” a mainstream fashion accessory.
This sheer lace frock the singer and actress wore to the Met Gala back in 2004 is positively conservative compared with the red dress she wore to the fashion event this year.
At this year’s Met Gala Jen fell on to many worst-dressed lists for this barely-there red jewel-encrusted number.
And this white jumpsuit didn’t go down too well either.
The American Idol audience can be quite conservative, so for the final J-Lo appeared in this elegant black lace gown, but on closer inspection it revealed a lot more.
They say never wear white underwear under a black outfit. But J-Lo threw away the fashion rulebook a long time ago, as this black sheer lace top proves.
Earlier this year at the Billboard Awards J-Lo again left little to the imagination in this sheer dress.
And at the MTV VMAs last year she flashed almost as much flesh in this cut-out gown.
Jenny From The Block stands up to style advice that it is best not to combine a plunging neckline with a soaring hemline.
At last year’s American Music Awards J-Lo showed female empowerment in this floaty pink satin frock, with cut-outs to reveal her muscly torso.
And then on stage she wore even less.
And you know what – if J-Lo wants to show off her damn fine figure, why shouldn’t she? You go girl!
