As I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! comes to an end, we take a look back at the previous winners and see what they’re up to today..

Series 1 – Tony Blackburn

Tony Blackburn
(Tim Ockenden/PA)

Tony was not only Radio 1′s first ever presenter but he was the very first victor of the jungle, scraping his victory past Tara Palmer-Tompkinson.

The pair shared the honours of doing the most bushtuckers trials in the series, both facing three tricky tasks – but they’ve got progressively worse over the years!

This year, the veteran radio celebrated 50 years in the industry and counting, broadcasting with BBC Radio 2, BBC London 94.9 and Magic 1161.

Series 2 – Phil Tufnell

Phil Tufnell
(Andy Butterton/PA)

The former cricketer stormed the jungle, basically thrashing most of the trials thrown at him to become the well-deserved winner of the series.

After his stint in the programme, Phil appeared in various other TV shows including They Think It’s All Over and Strictly Come Dancing.

And he’s obviously has the knack for television (maybe more so than the cricket field) as he’s been dominating BBC’s A Question of Sport since 2008.

Series 3 – Kerry Katona

Kerry Katona
(Chris Radburn/PA)

Kerry Katona was crowned the first queen of the jungle but no one probably remembers it because the win was overshadowed by Peter Andre and Katie Price’s blossoming relationship (remember that?!)

Only four years after the show Kerry was declared bankrupt (it wouldn’t be the first time) and she scooped up reality shows on MTV, all which failed due to dropping audiences.

In 2011, the former singer appeared on Dancing on Ice and then Celebrity Big Brother but it seems she reached her peak in the jungle and has been trying to regain status ever since.

Series 4 – Joe Pasquale

Joe Pasquale
(Doug Peters/Empics Entertainment/PA)

What was not to love about this high-pitched comedian – he was the first ever person to win all the stars on the dreaded bushtucker trials and even made two new friends (who weren’t any of the celebrities that were thrown into the jungle with him.)

Yes, we all remember the emus!

After being crowned king of the jungle, Joe’s made various TV appearances, hosted a few tours and this Christmas he’s set for panto playing Mr Smee in Peter Pan.

Series 5 – Carol Thatcher

Carol Thatcher
(Ian West/PA)

Carol didn’t quite fare too well in the gut-wrenching tasks but that didn’t stop her emerging the second queen of the jungle in five series.

She went on to spend three years at BBC’s The One Show before being given the boot for calling tennis player Jo-Wilfried Tsonga a “golliwog frog” and refusing to apologise for the gaffe.

Series 6 – Matt Willis

Matt Willis
(Suzan/EMPICS Entertainment/PA)

The former Busted member entered the final against Myleene Klass and Jason Donovan as an underdog but emerged victorious – and a whopping two stone lighter.

After attempting to kick-start his musical career with no avail, Matt tried his hand at various presenting jobs, including all the backstage gossip from the BRIT Awards and red carpet antics at the BAFTAs.

Pretty recently he’s re-entered the music game with super boyband McBusted.

Series 7 – Christopher Biggins

Christopher Biggins
(Keith Larby/Demotix/PA)

The panto king’s fought of fierce competition from mouthy supermodel Janice Dickinson and (practically unknown) rapper J to steal the title of king of the jungle – and we were behind Biggins all the way.

Since his stint in the jungle, he’s pretty much done what he knows how to do best – pantomime) (although he appeared on an episode of Celebrity MasterChef earlier this year.)

Series 8 – Joe Swash

Joe Swash
(Doug Peters/EMPICS Entertainment/PA)

Eastenders actor jumped straight into the jungle after making his final appearance on the show earlier that year and it proved to be a good move. We couldn’t get enough of his charm or the blossoming bromance between Joe and Star Trek’s George Takei, awww.

After winning the show, Joe then went on to present the show’s spin-off programme I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here, NOW! before winning more stints on television game shows like Total Wipeout, The Cube and Take Me Out.

He recently continued his search for love on Celebrity Dinner Date, with three other (minor) celebrities trying to win his heart with their cooking.

Series 9 – Gino D’Acampo

Gino D'Acampo
(Ian West/PA)

There’s no doubt the celebrity chef managed to rule to the roost. Despite coming under fire for killing and cooking a rat, Gino became (and still is) the most voted winner in the history of the programme, with 83.42% of the public crowning him King of the Jungle.

After his time ran in the jungle, the Italian scored himself the title of ITV’s This Morning’s chef and later starred in his own cookery shows like Let’s Do Lunch with Gino & Mel and Gino’s Italian Escape.

Right now, Gino is a team captain on comedy panel television game Celebrity Juice and judging by his track record, it seems he’s done pretty well for himself.

Series 10 – Stacey Solomon

Stacey Solomon
(Doug Peters/EMPICS Entertainment/PA)

Despite losing out on the X Factor crown, Stacey managed to grab the jungle crown with a whooping 80.07% of votes.

Stacey racked up a line of television presenting roles like ITV’s Sing if you Can, performed the British national anthem at the 2011 FA Cup Final and became the face of supermarket Iceland in the same year.

She was also asked to join the cast of the Only Way is Essex but turned it down – this is reason enough to love her!

Series 11 – Dougie Poynter

Dougie Poynter
(Doug Peters/EMPICS Entertainment/PA)

It was hard not to fall in love with Dougie in the jungle and as runner up Only Essex’s Mark Wright so rightly put it – no better person could have won.

The following year, he and fellow McFly member Tom Fletcher wrote a children’s book called The Dinosaur that Pooped Christmas – it’s actually did so well the pair released further books in the series (available on Amazon, guys.)

At the moment, Dougie is working on conquering the music world with recently formed super boy band McBusted.

Series 12 – Charlie Brooks

Charlie Brooks
(Matt Crossick/EMPICS Entertainment/PA)

Eastenders’ very own Charlie Brooks was the second of campmate of the soap to triumph in the Australian jungle – and the first one to call Corrie’s Helen Flanagan a “drama queen”.

Despite being delighted to be the last one standing, Charlie hit back at ITV for using her seven-year-old daughter in one of the challenges where the youngster was made to hide behind a door, while her mother could chose only one to win a prize. Unfortunately, Charlie chose the wrong one and missed out on the chance to see her little girl.

After the show ended, the award-winning actress dabbled in and out of Eastenders before landing the narrating role on Channel 5′s Botched up Bodies.

Series 13 – Kian Egan

Kian Egan
(Doug Peters/EMPICS Entertainment/PA)

The former boyband member proved to be one of the most, if not the most, popular camp mate of the series. Seven days out of the voting nine, he ranked first as the public’s favourite to save and stole over two thirds of the votes in the final.

This year he treated us to his debut solo album which peaked in the Top 10 in both Ireland and the UK so perhaps he’s more than just an ex-Westlifer!
