ULTIMATE Bowie, a show that pays tribute to the ultimate pop superstar David Bowie, is at Malvern Theatres on Friday, October 29.
Bowie, a man regarded as one of the most influential musicans of the last five decades, has sold an estimated 196 million albums, first coming to prominence in 1969 with his space-age mini-drama Space Oddity. Three years later he re-emerged as the flamboyant Ziggy Stardust and his album Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars was released.
This tribute show pays hommage to Bowie’s work and is visually and vocally impressive. Ed Blaney takes the spotlight and leads an eight-piece band that takes the audience from David Bowie’s early music with hits like Starman, through his remarkable career to songs like Heroes, Let’s Dance and China Girl.
Tickets for this two-hour show of Bowie classics cost £16 and are available from the theatre on 01684 892277.
