New website for jazz bands

A NEW website has been launched to promote two local jazz groups, the Malvern Big Band and the Malvern Jazz Sextet.

The site, www.malvernjazz.co.uk, provides news and information about both bands, including gig information, music, contact details and more.

The Malvern Big Band, formed in 2000, consists of 18 local musicans and performs a wide variety of jazz, from swing era classics to contemporary American and British arrangers.

The sextet is an offshoot of the big band formed earlier this year, which plays music by artists such as Miles Davis, Dave Brubeck, Chet Baker and more.
