EVESHAM’S first comedy festival opens next week, featuring TV comedian Jon Richardson on the last date of his national tour.
A dozen comedians from across the UK will perform at Evesham Arts Centre from Thursday to Saturday, June 28-30.
Thursday night sees half-adozen newer comedians take to the stage, overseen by MC Richard Sandling.
They are Dominic Elliott- Spencer, Billy Hill, Adam Henderson, Freddie Farrell, Ben Hutchinson and Frankie Peoples.
Thursday tickets cost £5 on the door, £4 in advance.
Concessions available.
Radio 1 DJ and comedian Tom Deacon is Friday’s headliner and will be supported by Matt Richardson and Chris Norton-Walker, who is already an arts centre favourite. The night will be overseen by MC Dan Wright, aka TV’s Little Cook.
Tickets cost £10 on the door, £9 advance.
