THE county’s first celebration of film is coming and the date for its finale have been announced.
Worcestershire Film Festival will run from Friday to Sunday, November 2-4, at the Hive in Sawmill Walk, Worcester, and also at the Worcester Arts Workshop in Sansome Street in the city.
It will draw together a cinema heritage project funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, the cinema exhibition that attracted more than 5,000 visitors to the Worcester City Art Gallery and the presentation of the Worcestershire Oscar (WOSCAR) to the winners of the best locally made films.
There will also be back-to-back screenings of local films, workshops on film making and much more, all free of charge.
Entries can also still be made to the film-making competition.
