TWO of the biggest names in the world of dance are coming together at Worcester Cathedral.

David Bintley, director of Birmingham Royal Ballet, and the internationally known London-based Spring Dance Company, will come together for an evening of high quality and dynamic performance, in Dancing In the Aisles on Thursday, March 1 at 7.30pm.

The Spring Dance Company will showcase their much-acclaimed work Bread of Life following a short address by Bintley on dance as a medium of expression particularly in the spiritual context and dealing with life issues.

It is hoped there will be time for informal discussion with both the dancers and Bintley during the evening.

Spring Dance Company’s work is described as “relevant, accessible and enjoyable for everyone” and is “designed to delight and challenge people of every faith and of none”.

Canon Dr Alvyn Pettersen said: “With David Bintley’s insight as an internationally renowned choreographer and director, and Spring Dance’s vivacity and professionalism the audience at Worcester is guaranteed a fantastic evening.”

Tickets cost £4 and are available from the Worcester Live box office on 01905 611427.
