THE Foal Yard’s annual Christmas exhibition is now open with a selection of work by talented local and international artists.
The Foal Yard Gallery at Bransford is showing work by stained glass artists Frans Wesselman and Tamsin Abbott, beautiful contemporary wood engravings by Sarah van Neikirk and Peter Reddick and lino cuts of the Malvern Hills by Malvern printmaker Andrew Judd.
There are also handcraved bowls and salad servers by local craftsman Alan Kirk in mulberry, apple, beech and cherry wood and laminated acrylic and birch vessels by Sarah Thirlwell. There are ceramic story bowls by Jitka Paimer and twelve paintings by local artist Anthony Bridge that reflect a whole year of painting every day for a year. There are also oak mirrors by Simon Horsley and glass birds by Finnish glassblower Oiva Toikka.
