KEEN young Irish dancer Bradley Tabberer-Mills had a dream come true this week when he tried out his skills in front of professionals Nine-year-old Bradley, from Suckley, has been learning Irish dancing for just 18 months and loves it.
He has already won trophies and medals and has set his heart on doing it full time. He was delighted to meet the cast of Magic of the Dance, a production on at Malvern Theatres until tomorrow (Saturday).
He has Irish dance lessons with the Kenny School of Irish Dance in Droitwich but is also learning tap, musical theatre and urban strides.
His proud mum Elizabeth Tabberer-Mills planned to take her son to see the spectacular dance show, but when she told theatre staff about his talent for dancing the cast invited him to join them for a dance lesson.
"Bradley just loves dancing and Irish dancing is his favourite. He lives to dance," she said.
Bradley has just progressed to hard shoes, a major step for Irish dancers, and hopes to continue with it and enter more competitions.
"He was so excited when he found out he was going to meet the cast. He wants to be a professional dancer himself one day," said Mrs Tabberer-Mills.
Magic of the Dance uses a mix of traditional Irish and modern American tap, combined with pyrotechnics and a narration by acclaimed actor Christopher Lee.
