HARROW Firsts travelled to Barnet on Saturday and on winning the toss, Harrow put Barnet into bat first.

Harrow made early inroads and Barnet struggled to 55 for three. Wickets fell consistently and tight bowling and good fielding restricted Barnet to 170.

Harrow made a positive start and with Dave Mungrue 77 (not out) and Sean Ongers 43 (not out) reached their target in the 46 over for the loss of four wickets.

Harrow Seconds late promotion push continued with an easy win over Old Actonians.

Harrow set attacking fields and bowled well. Wickets soon started to fall and Harrow held a firm grip throughout. Old Actonians finally declared on 187 for nine in the 54 over. Harrow went for the victory from the very first ball and reached their target in the 26 over for the loss of just two wickets. Carl McManaway 75 (not out) and David Knight (57) guiding Harrow home.

Harrow Thirds gained promotion on Saturday against a very strong Bessborough side.

Batting first Bessborough batted 60 overs for 249 all out. Marcus James the pick of the bowlers taking four for 43. Harrow had to score at six an over to reach their target and made a great start and at 90 for two after 14 overs looked to be in a good position with Tom Brockton (59) and Steven Carroll (53) leading the way.

Wickets started to fall and it was left to Dave Summersell and Edward Bennison to bat out the final nine overs to gain the four points for promotion. Next week's match against second place Enfield should decide who wins the championship.
